hood gap
my civic over time developed a gap between the hood and the headlights, with an even bigger one between the hood and the front bumper........i was just wondering if this could be fixed, or if a carbon fiber hood will be flush against the headlights and bumper?........also, the drivers side headlight is shifted a slight bit over to the right.......how could this be fixed ..........i already searched, didnt find anything..........by the way it is a 1995 civic eg

I would just play with your hinges/bolts on your hood to get it to align properly....Just tweak each one a little bit until you get proper fitment....Hitting bumps for countless years will make a lot of things shift or come loose a little bit....

as far as the headlight,i would have to see it. you could try loosening the mounting bolts and shifting it around a little. it will not move much. on most hondas only fore and aft. if you are talking about the aim of the headlights, there is o horizontal and a vertical adjustment.
the hood has these black bumpstop looking things that you can screw down or up to raise/lower the height. they are either on the frame or the hood itself. i believe turn right is lower hood, left is higher. this will only adjust about 1/4" inch or so. maybe 1/2"
you should also specify what year/chassis/model/mods. you have. this will allow the experts(myself not included) to help you.

Re: (msinsky14)
The higher end CF hoods will offer a pretty good fitment. If your OEM hood is not fitting right, a CF hood probably won't be any better. ViS or Seibon seem to be the most popular for quality construction and fitment.
LOL, you could always buy a dremel!

then how would i fix the gap?.......it seems like it fits ok from the windshiled, but i noticed it started to look bent as i followed the hood down to the the lights, wouldnt that mean that the actual hood became bent?
