hondata s200 vs crome?
Hey guys, its that time of the season.. well in a month or so.. but ill be boosted soon andd i was wondering, one of the local tuners around ( very good ) only tunes on hondata or aem.. but its 425 just for hondata. and crome is free ( i think ) .. is it really better hondata over crome? or should i find a tuner that does crome? thanks guys

If your going to spend 425 on S200 i recommend saving a few more and get S300. If your not looking for much just go with Crome and if your looking for alot go with S300. Stay away from S200 and 100 cause there basically crome.

There are issues with timing control in Crome. Neptune RTP simply works, and works well. The customer service can't be beat, and you can get the Neptune RTP board from http://www.xenocron.com or http://www.evans-tuning.com/ for $450.

No, I definitely wouldn't choose an S200 over Neptune RTP. The S200 is old technology now with the S300 and Neptune RTP on the market.

Bro thats bullshit. Theres nothing wrong w/ crome. I am talking real life experience here I ran s200 and s300 on boost and all motor cars. It was a waste of money because I got the same quality out of crome for a 1/4 the price and never had one issue with it. I used the launch control option everyday no issues and never a tuning problem w/ crome. Save some money and get crome period point blank.

You don't think I'm talking from real life experience? I tune at least two cars a week, and have had issues several times.

Crome is still full of bugs. People are working on it right now, but it still is not as solid as some of the other solutions out there. Remember, it is still basically freeware, with no single-source control for the additional features available via plugins.
