It may still be in development, but I know for a fact that the latest VFR has it.

hmm a really different design. Do they use the current vtec design in the boat motors ?

It's pretty much the same thing as VTEC-E found in the '92- '95 Civic VX. Also, the '01+ Honda VFR800s have this sort of VTEC in 'em.

Yeah the VFR has is and I think there was a JDM bike in about 94 that had some sort of VTEC in it. I think it was a 400cc. Not competely sure if it was "hyper" or not.

Interesting tidbit about bikes. Did you know suzuki made a rotary powered bike in '75. weird


Edit: isn't this kind of what the Asymetrical low speed cam lobes on a VTEC cam are for?

Yea, the back wheel tended to get loose around corners when the turbo spooled up. Alot of them went down like that.
