Hit a pothole now no turbo???
I got a 94 civic HB DX with a Vtec head its turbo. As it says in the topic i hit a pothole and all of a sudden no more boost. The turbine spins in the turbo housing but my guage shows no boost pressure ... also its back firing all the time what do you guys think would cause this sudden change.

As weird as it is, I agree with him. It's probably loose and you're losing air through the coupler on the IC or something.

Oh ****, I almost forgot about this topic I made. My buddy bought a turbo'd car, well, read the thread. Its great

Long story short, it probably ripped a gap in the exhaust manifold.

Get a pressure tester (or make one). Hook it up to your chargepipes and pump it up. If there is a leak you'll be able to hear and detect it a lot better with the car off. But it does sound like a boost leak.

i love that the people who can afford turbos dont know much about em.
im sure you knocked something loose man. though it may not appear loose, jack the car up and check it out
this would be the downside to bought, not built
