High Idle on b16 after skunk2 manifold
Hi guys, I searched the forums and couldn't find a legit answer to my problem.
I have a b16a2 (em1 engine) and I just swapped to a skunk 2 pro series intake manifold with a stock throttle body. After putting everything back and starting it, I have a 1500 idle.
I replaced all gaskets, my throttle cable is not tight, I didn't unplug any plugs except for the ones on the injectors. When I put my hand over the throttle body, my engine dies telling me I have no leaks.
Any help would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Are you using an IACV? Try spraying starting fluid around the intake manifold gasket and injector seals just to confirm there are no leaks. If your idle raises as you're spraying, you've got a leak...

Yes I am using an IACV. I tried to spray all around the IACV throtle body, and manifold to head gasket and nothing happened...I'm pretty 100% sure I don't have a leak...

Did the new manifold come with a idle adjustment screw? If so, warm up the car unplug the IACV connector while the car is running and adjust the screw. (If the cars idle does not go down to 500 rpms you have a vacuum leak) Now turn the car off and disconnect the neg batt terminal for 5 mins. Then plug the IACV back in. Start the car and do not touch the gas pedal until cooling fan comes on atleast twice.

Ok I will try that. My screw is currently all the way tightened which means my idle should be down, but it isnt. I'll try that tomorrow...
