HELP! WILL A B16A AEM CAI V2, OR ITR AEM CAI fit in a B16A DEL SOL
i wanted to know if anyone knows if:
the aem V2 cold air intake will fit in a delsol dohc Vtec.
the aem Integra type r cold air intake will fit in a delsol dohc Vtec.
the reason i'm asking is because i dont know if the piping bends the same as the AEM CAI for the DOHC Del sol. i know all parts between b series are interchangeable, but as far as engine bay size/design/length?
i wanted to use the 99-00 si' b/c it try's to mimick the J's racing design, except in a cold air form,
and i was thinking to use the integra type r cai b/c it has 3" piping.
please help me out. thanks!

Re: HELP! WILL A B16A AEM CAI V2, OR ITR AEM CAI fit in a B16A DEL SOL (24hourflipness)
A 99 Si AEM cold air will fit perfectly in the VTEC Del Slow . As for the ITR, which has the 3" piping, (compared to the 2.75" of the Si), I think that will fit, but I believe the piping will put the filter near the top of the tranny instead of inside the fenderwell. I would get a second opinion on that though. Hope this helps.

Both will work, the ITR will go next to the coolant overflow bottle though instead of going down the hole in the fender well. The ITR will also rub a little on the engine mount and the overflow bottle. If you are interested in the ITR, I am selling mine that I had working in my car.

for the itr intake, will you still be able to bolt up the intake even though though is rerouted?
also, the aem v2 is thicker. will that make a difference if the v1 already rubs in places?
thanks in advance guys!

Re: (24hourflipness)
The ITR will not bolt up, and I wouldn't recommend trying to fit the V2 in there. You don't really need a mount though because it fits so snug with the coolant overflow bottle. It is by no means a direct bolt in, and it won't fit perfect, but it will perform.
