Default Hasport engine mounts vs. ENJO mounts

i was talking to a guy at the local shop and he said that that the enjo mounts were way superior to the hasport mounts because you have to do a lot of finagling to get the engine bolted in with the hasport kit, i.e a lot of rubber mallot work, but he said that the enjo kit bolts right up really easily. He said that this is a result of the enjo kit being newer and improving upon the hasport kit. BUT, obviously he could just be saying that cause they sell the Enjo kit in his shop, and they dont sell the hasport one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of the ENJO, but I know HaSport makes high quality products.

Heard of the Enjo ones. They are made in Canada like the Vigo ones too. However since I am pretty sure they are somewhat copies of the Hasport ones it might be an improved copy or an exact copy.

Ask someone in Canada about it.

A lot of finagling to fit Hasport mounts? That's funny. Only if your car is seriously bent.

The ENJO mounts are weaker, fit worse, and the urethane is inferior. And they are copies of HCP, not Hasport.

Enjo mounts for the EG H22 swap does not fit perfect on the passenger side.
You have to drill another hole to bolt up to the stock bracket.

As for the EK H22 swap the enjo kit fits nicely.

HASPORT IS SUPERIOR TO ALL MOUNT KITS ON THE MARKET!!!!!!!!!!

period....end of story.....

i have never had to use a hammer, rubber mallet or anything on the hasport mounts i have used in the following:

89 crx
90 civic 4 door
92 eg
92 eg
94 eg
94 integra
99 si
00 type r

so this shop that you have there is just trying to sell you a mount kit that they make more profit on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in fact just yesterday i installed a b series into an eg using the hasport mounts in 1 hour and 15 minutes.....from empty engine bay to engine starting....so that right there shows that they take no HAMMERING to install!!!

I have the HaSport and they fit in just fine. They are a bit tight but with a bit of WD-40 spray on them they slide right in. It took me about 2 hrs. to put them in, but that was with the motor in the car. 98ctr.

I have had only one experience with the ENJO mounts.....it was the worst experience ever. My buddy got so pissed he was seriously thinking of just welding in new mounts. It was a horrible, experience. Nothing lined up, the rear mount was just too ******* big. (grinding and hammering helped alot) The job was done on an EF with a B16. The week before we did an EF with a B18a and Hasport mounts, they went in like butter. I still have nightmares.

Do you know me? No I don't think you do. Second of all, I was told twice that Osaka was good before I came here and out of no where found out otherwise. You, my friend are not worth the time of day. What are you driving again? You couldn't buy an engine to get ripped off by Osaka if you WANTED to. I've been into imports for years now and this is the first time something like this has happened. We still haven't found out if I've been :ripped off: yet. Please be silent. Thanks.

And avid makes stronger mounts that don't break under pressure. The only area they lack is in cabin vibration. Othe than that they are the best on the market. And where they lose in vibration (not even all that bad) they make up for in a $100+ price difference from Hasport.

ive never heard of them,...but im pretty sure they are not "better" mounts than hasport,...hasport has been tested and proven time and time again to be solid and high quality mounts,...i didnt have no problems with my hasport mounts whatsoever

I can come up with a ton of people who would vouch for HASport anyday, any time in any application...the 'O' in 'OG' doens't mean original for nothing...these guys have several years on anyone else on the market...

Did they change the design of the EF mounts? Because originally you did have to hammer the frame rail some for the alternator pulley to clear properly.

In order to achieve the most stock-like engine placement and axle alignment you must beat a dent in the driver's side framerail to clear the alternator pulley - it's not a big deal at all.

HASport has always been top-notch in terms of quality and customer service. My shop only uses and suggests HASport mount kits in any application possible because they are always 100% perfect fit and quality.

It's weird actually, on some 88-91 you can use a shorter alternator belt and not dent the frame rail.

Hmm, does that depend on the crank pulley?

that would depend on the alternator location, which by using a shorter belt would move alternator towards engine away from frame rail...

The ENJO kit my buddy installed in a customer's car had to be HEAVILY modified to fit. Spend the extra IMO.

maybe it didnt fit the ef chassie that well cause the frame could have been bent, thats why the mount fit so bad it would have happened with the HAsport also.
