Default AEM CAI (hybrid question)

I'm stuck between a 99-00 Civic Si and 97-01 ITR AEM CAI. I know both will fit B16a EG hybrid. And I know the ITR version has a larger piping, but has anyone felt better throttle response with the Civic Si CAI or was the ITR noticeably better? Anyone here driven the same cars with different versions or tried both out? Thanks in advance!

I Have the Type R Aem on my EG. I have a b16a with 172hp to the wheels. To be honest I think the Aem hurts the car down low. But makes it up on the top end.

That was why I was thinking about going with the B16 version, since the piping is smaller. I already think having an better flowing filter is enough air flow, but if the larger 1/4" larger ITR version is better, I'd have to go with that.
