Help. Water leaking from underneath dashboard of a 98 civic dx.
Hello. I have recently started noticing that when it rains water will drip from underneath the dash board on the drivers side, water will run down and drip from the black plastic under the dashboard next to the gas pedal. also as I pull out of my drive way and turn the steering wheel right, a stream of water falls on my left foot for a couple of seconds, it feels like water is being collected some where and as I turn the steering wheel right in reverse water flows to the left side under the dash and starts to fall on my left foot as it sits on the foot rest. I have also seen water collect on the passenger sides carpet right next to the kickplate.
Any tips on how to diagnose these water leaks would be greatly appreciated. By the way the car is a 4 door with no sunroof if that matters.
thanks.

Is this a right hand drive or left hand drive civic?
I think you may have to pull your dash to verify if it's the TSB leak or a different leak like the bottom of the windshield due to improper glass replacement.
Please see the TSB document below:

It's probably not the glass itself.
Many small shops don't pull out the OEM foam pieces when they do the glass and it ends up holding water and causing rust.
Willing to bet, the glass itself can be re-used and just have the proper clean up and glass sealant/glue redone.
Will need to go to a quality glass shop to get it fixed though.
I only know this because of taking our 5th gen hatches both to the same quality shop for glass replacement and he informed me about this bit. Had to grind some rust away, seal it and then install the new glass. Old glass had a nasty chip turned to crack.

Pull dash
have another buddy ready with the water hose
dry up any area's that look wet
Have your buddy go at it while you sit inside watching for leaks.
