HELP!! Water Leaks inside car on Driver side
Hey guys as of lately whenever it rains there would be a puddle of water on the driver side. So i took out my dash and sprayed water and i see where its coming from but i can't get to it. The water is not coming in through the windshield, but when it goes down the cowel, it some how ends up leaking into my car. If your looking at all 3 pedals on the driver side, on the left side not the firewall there's a whole where some wires come from. Its leaking from there. I cant get my hands to go up to feel if its rusted or something. I did remove my wipers and open up that plastic piece by the cowel and i can't seem to find exactly where the leak is coming from. All i know is when rain goes down the windshield to the cowel and its suppose to drain out by the fender its getting inside the car. Any suggestions or idea?

Re: HELP!! Water Leaks inside car on Driver side (blu3g)
if it were my car i would pull the dash and you know that firewall mat is most likely no good since its prolly molded and smells bad then you can get to the problem area and sand the rust prime/paint and seal it up with some silicone or window weld since its atmosphere proof along with everything else except fire proof.
at the same time you can find out why its not draining properly and the dash isnt hard to remove at all just gotta know where the last bolt is! its in the middle a/c vent
