im getting a jdm eg cluster and i was wondering how to reset the mileage on the odometer to make match it with the true milewage of my car.

take off the clear front part. Get a small sharp needle or somthing and use it to move the numbers. They only like the for forward (as in 1,2,3) not backwards (like 5,4,3). I did this to my cluster. Works really well.

or you can pop the spedo needles off both clusters, undo the 2 small screws off the face, undo the 3 screws on the back, remove the reset button and swap odometer units entirely. Whole process takes about 5 min.
