When you hooked up the autometer tach, how did you do it?

You might have cut the blue tach wire between the dizzy and firewall when you hooked the Autometer tach instead of tapping the wire. Make sure your blue wire is connected to your dizzy.

I had the same problem, what i did was simple tap the blue wire from the dizzy to the blue wire on the drivers side engine harness. try that.
