tach wires behind my guage cluster?

Default tach wires behind my guage cluster?

i heard there was extra wires for a rpm tachometer in my 99 hatch dx and i think i found them its a blue with red stripe wire and a power and ground wire i plugged them into my tach and i get power to my tach but it just stays at 0 rpms anyone kno wut this is?

You do realize you could just get a 96+ cluster with a tach in it already, and it will plug in and work right?

I know in EG's, the tach wire is blue behind the cluster. Are you sure you have the right tach wire...? And did you read the instructions and set up your tach for 4-cylinder operation?

It's a plain blue wire with maybe a silver dot.
