Default after market tach, SEARCHED

i have a 98 civic dx. trying to put in tach, i searched the forum and have tried the blue wire off dizzy,blue wire behind cluster, double checked my ground and i'm still geting no signal. any ideas? plz help. i read to try the ecu, but cant find the right wire i'm looking for.

you must not be hooking it up correctly. check the wiring for the tach and make sure your hooking up the right wires to the right places

check for a green wire, it should be on the drivers side, sorta by where the strut mount goes.... splice that wire and that should be it... il try to find some pics.

Post pictures of what Tach your using and the wires coming from the tach and the wires coming from the harness in your car.

Get rid of the aftermarket tach and buy an EX/SI gauge cluster.

it the pro tech tach, the wires on the back are red-power, white-light, black-ground, and green-signal

the green wire should be going to to another blue wire just outside of the passenger fire wall. connect it to the wire that has the rubber part on by all the the clips of the engine harness
if that doesnt work and you have an autometer, check your ground and maybe you have to cut those really small wires where all the wires come from the tach, it should be in color blue, brown, or orange or something like that. then if not that check your power source. thats about all i can think of hope this helps you
