Default Help! Shaking while under accelleration

Yes I have searched but it yet seems to answer my question
While under accelleration my car seems to shake at speeds 45 or above. I feel as if its coming from the rear because the stearing wheel only shakes due to the rest of the car shaking. I just had my tires balanced. Could a bent rim still be balanced and the bend go unnoticed? As soon as I let off the gas pedal or push in the clutch the shaking goes away.
Im at a loss here and any information would be helpful.
Thanks
Ray

Why dont you just take that bent up rim off and put a spare on and see what happens? My money is on that bent up wheel!

its either axle or engine/trans mount...axle doesnt make much sense to me cause even if u push the clutch in...they axle still spins which means if it was the problem it would still vibrate...enigne or trans mount seems logical bc when u push the clutch in, it disengages the engine, thus stoping the engine vibration...

I remember when my driver side axle went this summer and I felt the shaking coming from the steering wheel. This time it feels that the only reason that the steering wheel shakes is because the car is. And the problem got worse after I got the wheels balanced.
Thanks for everyones help!!

if you have a bent wheel it will no doubt be that, try switching the front wheels to the back and see if the problem goes away, i cant see that they would miss a bent wheel, should be ovious when they run it on the balancing machine, another silly thing to check, the balancing weights, were they stick on or knock on?, if they were stick on, make sure there still stuck to the rim!, if not, that could also be the problem!

Figured it out! My driver side axle went bad again! It was a NAPA reman. Decided to take both front wheels of put the car on jackstands and put it in gear. Heard a little bit of binding fron driver side so I concluded it was that but ill find out tomorrow when the new one comes in!

Thanks for everyones awesome help!!!
