Ok so last night I hop in my hatch which I have had for about a week. Neways driving on the freeway about 65-70 mph and it had some pretty good vibration, so I didn't drive it any faster, at one point I went over a bump and then the vibration got seriously worse. I figured no biggy I probably just lost a balance wieght off one of the wheels. So I go see a movie with my buddy and we are driving away and he (was in his car) told me that he could see my passanger side wheel "wobble" up and down.

So today, I notice that there is a slow kinda back and forth motion/vibration even at just a few mph. also there is a sound I can hear is spin??? So I am thinking maybe the axle is bent? Does that happen much? I haven't had a chance to put the car up in the air and check it out yet.

Sounds like you have some loose lugnuts. At this point you probably cant tell by hand tightening them...more than likely jammed to the wheel.

Jack it up and take off the tire, if the holes are oblonged then you found your problem.

loose lugnuts or a dent in your wheel. my frend had loose lugs but it didnt sound that extreme...id check it just in case. also when i got in an accident my car would shake like u discribed it...it was my bent wheel

try checking your tire.. my civic did the same thing and when i took the wheel off there was a big azz bubble on the inside of the tire.

well just looking at the tire didn't help.

I guess the tire had "seperated" but you couldn't tell from just looking at it. Thanks for your suggestions.
