Default HELP removing automatic transmission. its STUCK

D15B7....... The automatic transmissions prebably never been removed before and seems to be stuck or I don't know how to get it off. Starter is off, all the bolts have been removed that were connecting it to the block, and I pried the transmission about an inch away from the motor and can't get it any more.

What else is holding it on there!?!

If theres nothing else holding the tranny to the block just keep prying. If you already had it an inch away there isn't much more to go.

This motor/tranny is out of the engine bay already right?

Yeah the motor's out (I should have mentioned that) .... Dude I've hit this thing with a 4 foot prybar and nothing. The tranny actually rotates on the crank but isn't coming off. WHAT THE HELL!

Pics tomorrow.

I'm sure all the bolts are out, including that one on the back. I can pick up the tranny and the motor won't fall from it. WTF

I think you have to remove the 8 bolts holding the torquw converter to the flywheel, you get those by doing one at a time then rotating the crank pully to get anther one exposed then do anther one and so forth, then it should come right off.
