Taking off Tranny on a GSR motor
Alright well I do not have a Helms on me and I need to make space in my garage quick, so im taking the tranny of my motor which is chilling on a palet right now. Any suggestions on how to do this and step by. step directions? Also I need to drain the tranny fluid too, need to know how to do this. All help is appreciated..

Re: Taking off Tranny on a GSR motor (navin)
tranny fluid should be drained already if the axles are out. As for taking the tranny off, there's about 7-8 bolts holding it to the block. bolts have 17mm heads...starter bolts have 14mm heads...the tranny bolts are mostly on the tranny side, but there are like 2 coming from block to tranny under the block
