Ya, as I rev harder, mostly around the 6000 - 6800 mark, the sound is fully "on" and even with the exhaust being loud enuff, the sound is still very much there.

valvetrain, umm, but still puzzles me especially when i turn the car. low rpm but theres that sound. grinding against something.

Is there a possible that i may have over stressed the gearbox and thats where the sound is coming from? not 100% sure on this one.

gear box? so is it coming from the engine or transmission. take a look under the valve cover. otherwise im almost certain its a spun rod bearing.. happens all the time.
