Default HELP PLEASE.. weird overheating problem!!!

well my car is overheating BUT, its only overheating at slow driving speeds, and at a stop light.. the gauge will slowly rise hotter and hotter, and when i get going i have to be above 2500rpm then it starts cooling back down..

it also sometimes doesnt cool down for a long time till i step on the gas.. this is so weird, it started happening yesterday.. i have a brand new radiator its been in for a month, same thing with the thermostat.

could is be the coolant temp sensor going bad.. what are the signs of a bad temp sensor... why would my car heat up idiling and low speed driving, then cool down when i go faster?.. also i have been holding my car at 2500rpm at stop lights so it will cool down please any help will be appreciated, bringing my car to the shop tomorrow and telling them the same thing, my fear is its the water pump,, but if it was well read above.. wtf?? please thank you!!

probably air in the system
bleed/burp it

may be why it changes with rpm, since the water pump is mechanically driven
