have a 2000 honda civic. need to know the color wire going into the ecu for the o2 signal wire cuz i dont want to have to hook it up under the hood, mainly cuz i dont know where a hole in the fire wall is. if anyone can help. thanx

I'm confused, you don't want to have to hook what up under the hood...your o2 sensor, its supposed to be hooked up under there.Are you hooking up a A/f Ratio sensor, thats the only other thing I can thing of. Also a hole in the firewall is easy to find. Just trace your wireharness. You might have to do a little trimming to the rubber grommets though. Please clarify this a little better, becuase your not being too clear or i'm just burned out from working all day and going to school at night.

i need to know what the color of the wire is on the ecu that is the signal wire going to the o2 sensor because i dont want to run the wire for the a/f ratio gauge into the engine. im sure the signal wire on the o2 sensor is white..but what is the color when u reach the ecu.

I don't have a manual but if you have a continuity tester use that and test the white wire to the ecu plugs and see which one has continuity.
