O2 sensor... NEED HELP!!! katman?
ok here is my deal....
-i have a 92cx (single wire O2 sensor)
-i have a p74 ecu (92-93 teg, 4 wire O2)
-i have a 99 teg motor
so i go and buy the O2 sensor for the 92-93 integra. i open up the box and it is single wire. im like WTF to i talk to the guy who dropped the motor and he said if they are both single wire go for it.
well it doesnt work, so i need to know...
1) why is my O2 single wire???? did i get the wrong one some how.
2)can i wire this O2 sensor up correctly or do i have to get a new one.
here are the pics.
this is it hooked up:
this is a shot of the O2 connector, see only one wire....
and now last, are these 3 holes where i would wire in the 3 exrta wire when i have to wire up the 4 wire O2??? i did them in red.

You need to use a 4 wire O2 sensor because your ECU will be looking for that. If you bought a 92-93 Integra O2 and got a single wire then they sold you the wrong one which was no doubt meant for the 90-91 OBD0 Integra.

No you MUST use a 4 wire O2 sensor, whether it's OEM or aftermarket.

does some one have a diagram that show how to wire up a 4 wire O2 in a 92-95 cx with a b18b1 and a p74 in it.
I have been searching but it is hard to find it because you can use the term "O2" because it is too short. lol

I have a 92 cx, and i put a 00 b16a in it. You know what a wise man (katman) told me?
96-01 GSR engine harness. Plug and play, no additional wiring. and guess what, it worked! But idk what teg motor you are useing, and yess you need the 4 wire o2 and here is a diagram for the 1 wire to 4 wire conversion, but it's for the p28 ecu.
Again idk if it will work for your b18b1 and p74. But i went with the gsr harness for my obd2 swap but didn't need half the stuff cuz the ecu was obd1. But it was simple. anyway, here is the diagram i used......
