if you can't do it or search for it then you probably shouldn't be hooking it up yourself....don't want to fry your ecu now do you?

Hmm weird, My 93 Civic CX was a 1 wire o2. I tried to convert it to a 4 wire o2. It didn't work...at least I don't think it did, So I just pulled off the harness I made and used the stock harness again. No problem for me....yet. It's been over 8 months.

""needed a higher rev ecu. anyone know how to change to a 4 wire oxygen sensor from a 1 wire?""
1st to rev higher u need to get a chip, or have your ecu chipped, the o2 sensor, 92+ is obd1, your motor is obd0, its called takin out the 1-wire and buying a 4 wire, then u will need a obd1-obd0 harness to make your 91 si motor work in your 92 hatch, hahaha
boy, if ur going to run 88-91 ecu, u need the conversion harness,
why not just get a z6 motor, much easyier and simple,

Re: Converting 1 wire o2 to 4 wire o2 (sohcvtec66)
what are u talking about p06 ecu is from 92. i am only using a longblock from 91 si. that is it. not the manifold not anything else. thats why im converting to 4 wire because im using a different ecu than 92 cx im using 92 dx. get it???

what exactly would that do? if the wires ran straight from the sensor to the battery? the battery isn't the ecu buddy... click on the link in my post above, someone already posted how to wire this up.
