yea it stays solid. what do you mean by **** housed? its just a piece of **** or? i bought it off ebay LOL. its a p06 that was converted to manual and has a stock gsr basemap. the guy has a **** load of good feedback. should i just get a stock p72 and try it? this is a big dissapointment right now because ive beeen doing this all myself for like 2 months now, i just wantt o drive the damm thing. it does feel sick when i take off though, man im anxious

That's what's known as code 0. Your ECU is done, sorry. You'll just have to go find a new one. Or talk to your seller and see if he/she can do anything to help you since they sold you a piece of ****. That sucks, good luck.

You can't tell with the bad ECU. It will only tell you that itself is bad. It doesn't have the capacity to run other diagnostic scans.
Edit: didn't read your post thoroughly. A bad ECU will make it run like ***, so it's a majority, if not all of your problem.

obd2 is just going to give even more codes. i did my whole swap for obd1 anyway and i dont want to go back and change things. i can still blink out the codes from the obd1 i just need a good ecu
