Default Help me identify this exhaust

Ok, I know it's a Apexi World Sport. I also know it fits 92-95 Civic Coupe. What I'm not sure about is why it's configured to run without a catalytic converter.

Note the 3rd pieces, the end closest to the camera, has a ball junction that adapts to the header/downpipe. It basically acts as a test pipe.

Here's a closer pic.

I have parts of an Apexi WS 2 piece. The difference is that the middle "Z-pipe" section has a lot more tubing extending from the resonator forward. It terminates at a 3-bolt flange which attaches to the cat.

I just bought this exhaust hoping it would fit a hatch, and it's won't. I will probably sell it, but want to give a potential buyer as much info about it as I can. Gimme your thoughts.

Doesn't the DX coupe have the cat in the exhaust manifold?

If not, maybe it's designed for the hatches.

Did the DX also have the cat in the header? I know it's not for a CX or VX EG because the muffler section about a foot too long for a hatch.

Thanks for the help guys.
