im gettin a code for knock sensor dose any one know where it is located on a 95 z6 engine i cant seam to figure out where it is and in gettin a code 23 for it that is knock rite please help me out thanks or is their a way to bypass it some how lmk

i don't think z6's have knock sensors, but if you do, it is located between the oil filter and the intake manifold.

are you using the correct ecu?

well i bought a 96 ek coupe and it has a 95 d16z6 motor in it and at first i was havin a code ckf for it and i solved that now im getting a code 23 witch is knock sensor but the car has poor acceleration when u start to go plust the guy that had it put an obd2 dizzy on it im not sure if the dizzy is the prob lem im running an obd2 ecu

the z6 engine doesn't come with a knock sensor, but the d16y's do. Your ecu is looking for the knock sensor which your motor doesn't have so it is doing what it is supposed to. I would just get an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness and run a p28 in it.

I could be wrong but you're getting those codes because you still have an obd2a ecu.
