Looks like a factory D15B7 or D15Z1 MPFI motor. Which would be stock for that car, not a swap.

look for the casting on the block, then you'll know for sure what you have, but to go along with the others, that does look like a factory d

Re: Help - Identify This Motor (Filippo)
Well, first off, it has a PGM-FI on the intake manifold. This only came on the OBD0 engines. Any 92-95 Civic engine does not have this on the manifold.
Plus, if you search D16A6 in the H-T marketplace and Yahoo Images, you get the same looking motor as the one you posted.
Here's an image of a D16A6

It's not a D15B (SOHC VTEC). There isn't a VTEC solenoid.
Like I said above, it's most likely a D16A6.

I'm voting for d16 a6 based on the pgmfi intake mani. And the valve cover is the same as the one out of my boys 91 crx si.

Re: Help - Identify This Motor (Filippo)
The intake manifold and timing belt cover are from a D16A6 or pre-OBD SOHC ZC. Valve cover is pre-'94, if not pre-'92. The distributor is OBD-1 (two gray plugs).
I'm betting it's a D16A6 converted to OBD-1. Check the block stamp to confirm.
