HELP GUYS IDLING PROBLEM WITH MY SI????
hey guys got a 00 si swap in my ek coupe. i recently clean the throttle body on it and ever since then i have been having idling problems. when i come to stop lights it sticks at 1500 and 1800. If i rev it up the idle goes down then bounces from 1000 to 2000rpms. it does it all the time, yesterday i replaced the iac valve brand new from honda and still same problem any ideas. i was thinking maybe i sprayed too much in there and ruined the tps sensor. Any thoughts would help thanks.

i wouldn't touch that idle screw. that doesn't solve anything, there problem is still there.
try replacing the pcv valve, they cause this type of stuff when clogged. though, not sure it would help being that you sprayed crap into the T/B, but doesn't hurt.
beside, according to my knowledge, had the spray done damage to the tps or even the map, you will throw a cel.

Re: HELP GUYS IDLING PROBLEM WITH MY SI???? (philosofy1)
Actually tried adjusting the screw on the throttle body seemed to be better idleing in my driveway then went to drive it still bouncing up and down but not as bad. When i first started it up today when it was acting up bad, i tried spraying brake cleaner to check for any vaccum leaks. It didn't seem to change the idle at all. I tried to pull the pcv valve out there was no vaccum. I have a skunk 2 manifold on it. Where the sensor plug is if it were an gsr that has the vaccum because when i put the manifold in it ran like crap until i plug the sensor hole up.
