Help gsr sputtering problem
HELLO…
I just bought a civic with a Gsr swap and the car is braking up when it hits like 6500 Rpm, it feels like if it hit rev limiter, like if the coil was getting to hot and is giving up spark or something,
I have already changed the ECU, the ignition Coil, and the Igniter
What else could cause this problem???
Thank you in advance!

Re: (K4Life)
It could be running out of fuel, put a fuel pressure guage on it and go for a run, yes you need to be able to monitor it while driving. When was your last fuel filter change.

LOL, man I am/was in your same situation, EXACTLY. I did an ignition tune up with a Honda distributor and rotor, got NGK wires and plugs, and also replaced the IAC motor. My **** was cutting out at around 7k just like yours is, it felt/sounded like it was hitting a rev limiter.
I don't have any cut out problems now. And I also figured out my two middle cylinders have low compression. I feel for ya man, stupid kids sellin good **** that's fucked up.
Also...what ECU do you have?
