HELP CEL TPS pops up all the time after VTEC
i have a 2000 honda civic with an OBD2 GSR and an ecu jumper. i have a p72 OBD1 computer.. everything is fine unless i punch the gas and after vtec pops the cel comes on and its the TPS. i turn the ignition off and on to reset it then punch the gas again but still CEL pops up after vtec and its TPS.....................any suggestions Thanks

recalibrate your tps sensor.... search it if u dont know how, if that does not solve the problem, then your tps requires replacement due to a deadspot on the sensor somewhere near full throttle apparently

like he said try and recalibrate your tps, but i had the same problem after hiting vtec it would throw a cel for the tps sensor, after awhile of that happening a few months the cel just stayed on for the tps sensor, I replaced it with a blox tps sensor and it works fine now no problems, i belive your tps sensor to be on its last legs.

same here recalibrate it, .5v closed and 4.5v WOT if you didnt know it means wide open throttle, i just did mines today, and trust me it makes a diff, your going to need a volt ohm meter, harbor freight has them for 1.99
