Does anyone here know how to like bend or repair carbon fiber as you can see by the pictures, the carbon fiber hood alignment is really bad on the right side of my car, any suggestions or ideas?

try to re align ur hood loosen the hood bolts and try moving it to the right a lil but other than that the hood could be off a lil common problem

There should be two rubber screws, each are as big as a thumb that goes into your radiator support. You will see em looking straight down at your bay. I suggest playing with them, start by taking them out. It looks to me that if that is the side that 'pops up' you're going to have to raise it a bit on the other side to not just even it out so they're both up, but it will cause that side to come down a bit.

i've raised up the lil rubber thumb **** thingy on the left side and took out the one on the right side.. and what i've noticed is that they don't even touch the hood...

it could also be the arm that supports the hood when its open i had problems with it when the hood closed for some reason it would hit it so

nah i don't think its the arm support, because with my stock hood.. it fits just perfectly fine, and we also placed the CF hood on my friends civic.. it also has an alignment problem, i was just wondering if there is any way to bend it or something? cuz at the moment i have like 75lb weights sittin on the right side, and its not helpin much

who makes the hood? VIS? could just be a manufacturing flaw. it's aftermarket so...fitment is always an issue. problem is with carbon fiber there really isnt much can be done to remold/trim. if you purchased it from a reputable company try calling them, couldnt hurt.

i looked under the hood and it said.. JSP but the car that it came from.. it fitted perfectly.. =/

No. Reading owns you. I never said anything about the Tabs that raises or lowers the hood. I'm talking about the weather strip that goes in between 'which' he never mentioned or has on(from looking at the pic).

Anyways, unless reading owns me, did you say that you saw the hood on another car and it fit perfectly? Cause this looks like another (common) case of a bad CF hood.

He said he placed it on his friends car and it does the same. My guess is the CF hoods molding is bad(location of the hinges).

I say take it off and send it back for a replacement.

clean title doesn't equal no wrecks.
i see wrecked cars on craigslist all the time with a "clean title"
so unless you've had this car since knew, you never know.

anyway, take the hood off, set it on a level area....if its straight then your car is crooked.

anyway, where are your hood pins? wouldn't they hold it down anyway?
i hope you aren't planning on driving around without them.

my hood looks like that an its factory.

looking at the car, you would think the body is perfect, but

i looked a little harder and the frame is bent above the headlights, couple that with my bumper which doesnt fit right, and it makes you wonder.

i think my car has been wrecked, just barely. yours might be in the same situation.

my vis is like that too...its a common problem

use hood pins and pull it down.
you should be using pins on it anyways...

if it fit perfect on the other car, it is YOUR car not the hood

i remember seeing on here somewhere that someone else had the same problem. what they did was remove the hood and, with protecting the hood, added some weights to it and let it sit in the hot sun for a good day. fixed the probelm for him.

i had that problem too but on my eh2

what i advise (plus its a safety investment) are hood pins.

you can fix that gap and it safely secures your new hood from flying up. there are locking ones you can get.

before hood pins try loosening the hood latch, and slide it all the way down, and then start again, had a similar problem where the hood looked propped up, even though it was shut, lossen those bolts and slide the latch all the way down. fixed mine.
