Icon6 HELP! Car turns over no spark!

I was leaving the junk yard, when i tried to fire my car, it turned over, but wouldn't fire. The only odd thing i have noticed is the CEL doesn't pop on during the ignition procedure at all. No spark and im pretty sure it is getting fuel.
Things i replaced:
-Ignition switch
-Ignition module er coil? inside distributor
-cap, rotor, wires and plugs are all recent
-Main relay.

Mind you i was stuck at a j-yard, so some parts were readily available... but it was a roung place, so i had it towed to a shop... they are miserable, so ill have it inmy garage in next the next day or two.

Any ideas? Distributor? testing proceures (once i get it home)? Any help would be greatly appreciated, everyday its down, i miss work!!!

I am thankful in advance for any advice or theories..

turn the key to on, listen for the fuel pump to prime. If it does, replace the dizzy with a new rebuilt unit from a auto parts store. Trust me, it's cheaper in the long run to get a rebuilt dizzy instead of fixing one item at a time.

If the pump does not prime, clean the ECU ground on the engine, clean it real good and clean it some more, before you reattach it.

if its cranking with no compression(withough hesitation) your not getting any fuel in you combustion chamber. cleaning the plug wont do much if your fuel pump doesnt prime. what makes your pump prime or not when you turn your key is the main relay. its common for them to die. ive replaced mine like 3 times with scrap yard ones cause they fit in my pocket. but theyre like 65$ from a honda dealer. and for the record honda main relay is cheaper from the dealer than part source or nappa. i used to work at nappa. and even with my discount its was like 40$ more than straight from honda. good luck

I am pretty sure i state i replaced the Main relay... since i was at a junk yard. DOes the main relay HAVE to be bolted to the chassis? or can it be dangling (in a argument w/ a friend about it.)

Edit** i did lol**EDit

test the dizzy.. if you have a a test light see if you are getting power to the coil.. you might need to pick up a dizzy and replace it.

sorry didnt read you had a main relay already. i was half in the bag. ive grabbed bunk main relays fron the wreckers before. so you might have a bunk one too. borrow a friends that you know works and try it. its how i figured mine was ****. now i keep a spare in my glove box. my car hates main relays. even after i did my DC dash conversion and redid all my grounds with dielectric grease

I'd say distributor, this happened to me and that's what it was. i just replaced the whole thing. if you're getting no spark out of the dizzy, then that's my opinion....hit up "Your Name" on here he rebuilds 'em and he hooked me up with mine. cool guy too! GL!!

thats lame. but before we suspect the dizzy, is your fuel pump priming when your key is in the on position.
