Default HELP!! B18b swap in EK

Wassup fellas, I need help asap, I am doing an OBD2 LS motor in my EK hatch which is also OBD2. Well I am about to buy the wire harness from an OBD2 integra, that plugs into the distributor, injectors, sensors etc. I heard that you can just use the DX harness. Is that tru? Please help me out before I buy this. Gonna meet with the KID in an HOUR so please help. Also gettin the OBD2 LS ECU. Will I have any problems? Thanks.

yea i think LS is a straight bolt in, no need to change wires or anything, just a couple B series mounts, plus axles ecu and shift linkage of corse.

Thanks SIMPLE so then I dont need the LS engine harness then right? And the LS OBD2 should plug right into my DX harness right? Also what exact mounts do I need? I am new to Swaps and have done alot of searching but sometimes the info conflicts. I assume that you have experience wit this so that would be great. Thanks again for the Help.

straight bolt in...as long as the harness is OBD2 you can either use the DX or LS...

You cannot use the LS harness, integra wiring goes from shock tower to shock tower where the civic goes into the cabin, I just swapped in a B18B into my 98 EX and the LS harness is way too short. if they are both OBD2 then use the civic harness and change any plugs that dont match up. (shouldnt be but a few) I had a few b/c I swapped in an OBD1 LS.

Mounts:
99-00 SI Rear Mount
99-00 SI Driver Side Mount (bolts to the block below Cam Gears)
94-97 Del Sol VTEC A/C bracket (make sure it is a del sol vtec)
Integra front tranny mount
the other mounts are your stock civic mounts

u could also use your stock drivers side mount from the civic and drill it although this is a bit ghetto.

use your stock harness... you need a block mount on the right, and a 99-00 si rear trans mount.. use the ls front trans bracket, ls shift linkage, axles....thats what i use with my swap..

I will like it better as soon as I install my turbo . Also, you need a civic si engine block bracket and engine mount bracket, and a civic si rear engine mount bracket and tranny mount bracket. Thats all of the mounts I had to get. Also, like everyone said, use your stock harness, and all you'll need to do is lengthen some wires, and change a few plugs. Good luck!

well I swapped in a turbo B18B with forged internals so I have no idea what a stock B18B feels like .

My motor doesnt even know what a header or a catylitic converter is, it was spoiled from birth.

Basically I never knew I had such shitty tires

straight bolt in...as long as the harness is OBD2 you can either use the DX or LS...
wrong, integra harness do not fit in any EK. EK harnesss go directly to the ECU. IT is a straight bolt in. For the ECU side, if your car is 96-98, you need a 96-98 harness and 96-98 ECU. You will have to move a couple wires for the Idle air control on the ECU side. I believe its a14 to a12. Dont quote me on that. you need the drive side and rear mount off of a 99-00 SI. cast iron peice for the drive side and the steel rear that connects to tranny. if the ECU is 99++ your **** wont work. You can use the LS harness for plugs but your not gonna need more than one or two and thats not worth ruining a good harness.

good luck, PM me if you have any other Questions. More than willing to help..
