First of all double check your wiring:
Okay so if you have no CEL codes and the wiring is done correctly, how should you tune the V-AFC?
ON A DYNO WITH A WIDEBAND 02 SENSOR.
There is no other way to tune it correctly - period.
I also recommend getting a fuel pressure regulator so you can add fuel across the board if you're running lean in some spots, and then you can have the fuel trimmed awat per 500rpm with the V-AFC - it cannot add fuel though.
My advice is to pay the money and have it tuned by a professional.
What motor do you have?
I saw 20whp gained in the midrange of my B18C5 after tuning, and 20 more ft/lbs. of torque to the wheels as well with proper V-AFC tuning.
