Default DYNO tuning with VAFC

I'm picking one up this weekend. AEM fpr and autometer a/f guage is on the way. I have a b16 in my rex and wonder if I need new injectors and fuelrail. By the way. How much hp have you peeps gained after dyno tuning with the VAFC. What should I look for and expect because I don't wanna get ripped off.

No, your stock fuel system will be fine. When they install the VAFC, make sure they soulder the connections, not just crimp. I recently gained 4 WHP doing some tuning with a VAFC on a B16A, but it was already prety good...it just depends on how far off your fuel maps are in the first place.

Sonic is correct. If your air/fuel mixture is decent from the get-go then your numbers will not drastically improve. Use the fuel pressure regulator first to either take away or give more fuel to the motor and then the VAFC to fine tune the fuel curve. You might even try lowering vtec a few hundred RPM's and see if you can get some good whp there. Good luck.

don't forget to reset your ECU before tuning, and reset if every few hundered miles to keep the ECU from triming out your settings. If U have the dyno for the hole day, it's fun to do a run before U reset it then do one right after U resit (don't play with the VAFC yet) and see if your HP curve changed any just from the reset. Ignore this is your car does not use long term fule trim.
