heating up 96 ek hatch issue
I am having a over heating problem on my hatch. After driving on the highway for about 20 min, it starts to slowly overheat. It never got to the end, but the needle starts moving upwards. When I let it glide the needle comes back down to normal. Until another 5 min. of driving on highway. When I drive in the streets It never happens. I have a 96 gsr swap in my hatch and im running a stock dx radiator. I am thinking that is the issue. I don't see anything leaking. I don't see any bubbleling up on the resevoir. The only thing I haven't changed is the radiator cap. I took it to Autozone and they could not check it cause it was to small. Oh, and the thermostat. But I doubt is that cause it doesn't not over heat right away. Anyone ever had this issue before, help would be appreciated.

I vote for a bigger radiator. It's getting to the time of the year where the heat (as opposed to the cold) will affect your car in different ways. It will probably get worse as the weather gets even hotter.

i run a turbo ls swap in my ek hatch with a stock rad! i havent had anyproblems with it...only reason for running stock rad is because i have no room for a bigger one....i would try the cap and the t stat first because they are alot cheaper then changing the rad!
