Three cylinders
I accidentally, and unknowingly, dropped a tiny piece of solder into injector #4. I figured out I was running on three cylinders and replaced injector #4 with a brand new injector.
Now I am still runnning on three cylinders. Could I have shorted the injector wiring out while the solder short-circuited the injector?

If you short out an injector, you would blow the FI/E fuse, and none of them would work, If it shorted to ground, it would be on constantly, and never turn off until the key is off, eventually burning it up. Check the resistance of the injector coil, see if burned open.
Pull the plug and see if its wet, if it is, then you have a spark issue. Plug and wire would be the first suspect. If to no avail, check the cap for water intrusion/corrosion.
Wire damage would be at the bottom of the list, unless there is some wire modification which you have not brought up.

We could go on and on about what the problem could be. If you want to move forward and solve the issue, do the inspections that are listed above. They are all easy and require very little work. If you do not know how to do these checks, ask us.
