Icon5 Ek Hatch

So i got a 96 ek hatch D16y7. Its overheating and the coolant is going into the overflow tank. I took the thermostat out to see if it was maybe sticking closed but it still doing it. Heater Core isnt clogged, its a new radiator cause it was cracked when i bought it. Just trying to see if yall got any ideas before i pull the head off and do a headgasket since i dont have a radiator pressure tester. Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks,
Jesse

Y'all just love to look at the threads and not post anything. Even the brand new threads, y'all just look and then move on your merry way. Can you give me something, anything at all. Tell me that I am screwed and I need to pull the head. Tell me I am stupid and I overlooked so and so. Tell me something so I stop overthinking what this could be and keep thinking I'm gonna do this head gasket and its gonna do the same damn thing to me once I get er done!

Find and hold the "all valves closed" position for each cylinder and pump compressed air into the spark plug hole and see if you get bubbles in your radiator or overflow bottle. If you do, I realize you don't like it, but you know the answer: blown head gasket or damaged/cracked cylinder head. Remove it and get the head pressure tested and surfaced, check the flatness of the block surface, and if within spec, buy a quality head gasket and put it all back together.

As for your impatience... take it easy. Just because someone looked doesn't mean that they have an answer for you that they are confident in posting. Also, they may be looking because they have the same or similar problem and hope to see the answer because they may be too afraid to ask.

Dude, chill out. You’re asking for free help, and nobody owes you anything for free. Beggars can’t be choosers, and time is money. If you ain’t got the money for a diagnosis, you gotta spend the time and wait.

So this is the second thread you’ve created asking for help and got upset that all you had were views.
maybe no one that’s viewed this thread has no idea of your issue? Maybe your previous thread turned others off from chiming in?

You also titled this thread “EK hatch” and some assume they will see some sort of thread showing your car and they were interested.

I am currently taking a dump before bed and that is the only reason why I’m reading and responding to this.

You’re welcome.

Also buddy, All of your posts have been in a thread you’ve created, except one. All of your posts are also posted in this forum ONLY. But I’m sure you haven’t viewed other people’s threads on here and didn’t respond, right???

Do you look before you wipe?

And do you check while you wipe?

Y’know... because honesty.

I read that it’s actially better not to wipe. Something about building up the immune system. I’ve already been through roughly 258 pairs of pants, but I haven’t been sick since!!!
