Default Heating Issues

My boy has a 95 del sol, and for some reason, the heater only blows when you turn it to level 3, so when he turn on the defroster, it won't work until you put it on number 3 and we don't feel anything at level 1 or 2, anyone? thanks

Search the forum. I had the same prob, and the answer has been posted here before. The broken piece is about 3" wide & sits inside the blower assy. Right behind the glove box, IIRC. I was able to fix mine by resoldering, but you can replace it too.

Sounds like you need a blower motor resistor.

You'll need to look up where it is in your car - mine was behind the glove compartment mounted to the outside of a heater duct. You unplug a connector and remove two screws and it slides out. It looks like a bare light bulb filament only way bigger.

Shouldn't be too expensive, maybe 20 bucks or so.
