did you check your resisters?
if you take off your glove compartment, you'll see where the airbox can come undone with little clips.. the resisters are on the top of the right hand section. the resisters are about 2" by 3/4" wide, and have a plug on the top of them.

^^ what he said, most likely your blower motor resistor
y its taking so long to heat up..did this occur after you replaced the thermostat, coolant...maybe aripocket?

Re: (12SEC CIV)
no its taken forever to warm up since i got it. so i thought it was bad thermo but its not. its still the same. no air pockets either. also can i visaully tell if a resistor is bad by looking at it or will it smell burnt or something ? i guess dealer is only place to buy them right.

Re: (97grnrs)
im sure you can get the part at a junk yard...but i work at nissan dealer and they are only $30new..so nothing crazy..usually when they are removed they actually look/smelled burnt but you need to remove in order to tell

Re: (12SEC CIV)
it helps to turn the heater off and put it on cold when warming the car. mine heats up to a hot temperature in about 5 mins that way.
