heat crack maybe
background:
94 cx with single cam v-tec ran like a champ the first 4 months ive owned it now when i go to a gas station or any where after running the car to full temp, apon restarting the car it runs for 3 seconds then stalls.. wont fire for 5-20 mins depending on the day...
ive changed fuel pump, fuel filter, checked timing, plugs wires and cap, still problem persists... now thinking to could be a sensor or relay but im not sure what to look for or where...
if no one has help guess ill have to bring it to honda ftmfl....

Re: heat crack maybe (sevindust2404)
I had an issue like that on my 94 EX. I ended up changing the ECT (two wire just below distributor) sensor. I believe that that sensor was bad and not sending info to the ECU anymore, which makes the ECU think it is always a cold start condition and basically floods the engine with all the gas it is asking for when you start.

Re: heat crack maybe (finnstang)
actually, sounds like a main relay.
The reason the car will start and immediately die is because there is still fuel pressure. Replace the main relay, it's the small gray box by the fuse block under the dash.
