header wrap
i did a search and read throgh many threads and still have a few questions.
1.) How much wrap would a typical header need. for example a DC header.
25'...50' oh yeah its 1" wide.
2.) How much heat should the wrap be able to with stand. the package says 1500 degrees and i was wondering if this is enough.
i know all the pros and cons about wraping hearders and all the risks like cracking so i just want to know these questions.
thanks in advance

Re: header wrap (akumaracer)
ok i fully belive in it .. i've had my header wraped all year with no problems ..... i ahve a DC 4-1 header ... i bought a 50 foot roll and used about 10 clamps all togethers .... don't forget about the heat paint ... and 1500 degree is fine .. i belive in it and ahven't had a problem .. howver the exaust pipe going back does get hot ... but all that causes is larger backfire when going through turns and such
