Default Heat Wrapping My Header...

I've have already searched....

I have ceramic DC headers and was thinking about wrapping my header but after doing a search there was a divide b/w members about the the issue. Some say wrapping the header will lead to premature failure caused by cracking while others say that they have had no problems what so ever.

can anyone share their experiences with heat wrap? and what is the best heat wrap to use?

Dont wrap the header. I dont have any personal experience but from everything that i have read i won't do it especially with a ceramic coated. It isn't as strong as the stainless steel counterpart.

I would send the header to get it Jet Hot coated if you are that worried about heat in your engine bay. You could also always fabricate a heatshield if you have the time on your hands.
