Default head swap

hey guys i have a 93 civic with the d15b7 motor in it i was just wondering if there was any other heads i could go with.like a v tech or dohc.

you could swap a D16Z6 head on it if you wanted to, but you should just change the whole motor to a D16Z6 or a D16Y8.

A DOHC (DUAL Over head Cam) head will not fit on a SOHC (SINGLE Over Head Cam) short block.

Yes all d-series blocks/transmissions are interchageable.

Well concerning blocks they are.

not all timing belts will fit. Nor water pumps without modification, cam gears are different on some too
