What heads can you put on a b16 block? will a gsr head fit, or can you only use the b16 head. I was thinking about putting a gsr or type r head on my block thanks for any help

you can use any Bseries head on a Bseries block

well if I put a gsr head on my b16 block what would it do for power. I know it would lower the compression ratio but other than that what can I look for power wise. I am going to have dh racing do a full port and polish job on it and add dual valve springs and all. I also plan on going with a stage 2 set of cams and latter a super charger(reason for lowering compression) but what could I expect in the meantime

Using a GSR head on a B16 block will raise the compression.
