having issues getting the rear defrost switch to work after acura el console conversion
everything is working fine except the rear defrost button.... the switch stays constantly as if its on with the light remaining on when everything is hooked up. otherwise when its wired on its own there is nom issues, so im wondering if maybe there is an internal problem with the switch or if anyone has had a prior issue like this before or any issue with the switch....fairly sure its a problem with the circuit itself but it doesnt hurt to ask

You did a 1.6EL lower console or climate control?
If you used the switch you got with the EL climate control, then it could be the switch itself. I'm pretty sure it all plugs in. Try your old switch and see if it works.

yeah it doesnt plug in bc you are adding the rear defrst switch into the same plug as the climate controls .... im starting to believe its the button itself
