Has everyone with a broken axle experienced clicking when turning?

Re: Has everyone with a broken axle experienced clicking when turning? (Rocks)
Hmmm...sounds like its time for a new axle. My cv boot ripped and soon after I heard lots of clicking and clunking, then one day on my way to the auto parts store to get my new axle(was gonna replace it that night after work) I turned into the mini-mart parking lot and heard a loud clunk and the car wouldnt move. The axle pretty much broke. Good thing I know a guy w/ a tow truck...
Get that fixed soon man.

sounds like an axle or a wheel bearing. if you only hear it when turning it more likely to be the axle

Clunking and vibration means the inner CV joint on your axle is messed up. Clicking while turning means the outer CV joint on your axle is messed up.

all you need is a 32" deepweld socket and a cheater bar....took me 5-10 minutes to change out my friends passenger side axle.
