redundant, i think.
try switching to a smaller turbo or something to eliminate excessive lag.
I don't think you would gain a lot by adding a supercharger, just a lot of headaches.
Also, if you are still serious about it, try moving this thread to the Forced Induction Forum...

you have to remmeber one thing when you put on the supercharger the car will run like a n/a and so when you put on the turbo it would feel the same as a b18 on turbo. if you are really woried about the lag use a 2 turbos one set for low rpm or a smaller turbo and one big one for the higher end. (thats if you can fit all in). i have seen it done. and you will have electrical issues and fuel managment issues too.

That would be completely unnecessary... As long as you get a properly sized turbo then you won't have issues with lag... Plus a turbo can meet whatever horsepower goal you are looking for... There would just be no point other than to say "hey look at me" and I don't think that would be worth all of the issues you would run into...

doing that just seems like it would add more headaches than you would ever want

why would you use 2 turbos on a 4 cylinder engine?

I've thought about this. And I really don't know....

I'de like to see a build right up for this...So if you go this route, make sure you bless us with one. A twin turbo set up would ultimately solve this problem as well. Smaller turbo/larger turbo.

its been done a few times.
i have also seen a smaller turbo used to help spool the big *** bastard turbo lol
go for it!
build thread posibly??

hanmin people use it to help a larger turbo spool quicker that would normally take a very long time to spool.

Of course he can do whatever he wants but maybe he doesn't know all of the trouble he is going to go through for something that can be accomplished much cheaper and with much less hassle...

lol a twin charged civic would be bad ***. it all depends if you want a n/a motor or a forced induction.

some pro's and cons for both
Turbo Pro-> more power, easier to adjust, cheaper than superchargers normally. easy to install
Con-> lag depending on size, more electronical stuff. harder on motors.
Supercharged Pro-> feels like N/A, easier on motors. doesnt have any lag its instant
Con-> more expensive(normally) harder to install. not a lot of info on them. limited to power and harder to adjust.(anything over 6 pounds on a d series ull need to put in block guards, found that out the hard way lol)

so take your pick lol

I meant in a twin turbo setup, parallel or sequential. Sorry about that.
