Harmonic balancer?
OK last night my A/C locked up. I drove the car for a while until it smoked. Cut the A/C belt off and drove it for another hour or so.. While going on the highway my RPM stuttered and droppedto 0 , the car loss power temporarly. This happend 3-4 times going home.
I was wondering what would cause that.
Can the locked A/C cause the harmonic balancer to go bad?
I was thinking distributor coil.

No taking the A/C belt off will not cause it to go bad. Honda uses the same crank pulley for every engine. Some cars dont come with A/C or PS so y should that same motor and same crack pulley go out of balance just by cutting the a/c off. something else happened

That's not true. Crank pulley styles and weights varried for different engines
