H22/B16 Swap
Hey everyone,
I was just wondering which you guys would recommend for a swap into my 94 Civic DX HB. Should I put in an H22 or a B16A2? Anyone else have personal experiences with either one in my specific model? Thanks!

i would recommend the search feature...
but i know people that have had both and i guess it depends on your budget and skill that you have... b16 is easier since its drop in... h22 is a little bit more fabrication because i believe you have to cut and reweld the tranny mount...
it just depends on you

Apples and oranges. I realize that the price for the "complete swaps" are very similar, but the "complete swap" isn't complete for the H22A. If you have an Accord or Prelude, the H22A "complete swap" is pretty much just that, but not for a Civic or Integra. The H22A swap will be quite a bit more expensive than the B16A swap, but it will also be more powerful. Do a search, or just look at the FAQ thread at the top of the '92-'00 Civic subforum, for more info on the swaps and multiple threads of comparisons.
